This all new board model takes the team back to the roots of classic longboard log-style nose riding. For those who seek the soul-surfer longboard session, with a paddle.
Imagine 1st point Malibu, classic longboard shape, but slightly thicker to be able to stand, rather than prone or knee paddle.
The emphasis here is more on traditional longboard riding, with the outline aimed at wave performance, rather than flat water stability, like we have with the Glide range.

The Ponto Max features a plug to attach a windsurfing rig for use in flat water.

Wow, what a great board. I normally ride smaller sups, I spent the last 2 days surfing the Ponto Max, and I’m super impressed. The first session was a little challenging with strong offshore winds and adjusting my style to a bigger board, but it got into waves with great glide. I swapped out the stock center fin for a cutaway longboard fin. If you’re going to be looking for more snappy turns, I would consider a different center fin. I was nose riding, I could pump it down the line and throw cutbacks and top turns. New board in my quiver now!
