From towing into monster waves to riding remote reef breaks, from competing worldwide to spending hours shaping in the factory – Kai and Forward Maui forged a shared pursuit: to transcend boundaries in Surfing, Tow-in, Windsurfing, Sup, Kiting, Foiling. The result is relentless innovation – driving the future of board design.

Kai started surfing at 4, windsurfing at 6, Sup at 7, and foiling / tow-in by 9. He’s spent a lifetime redefining what’s possible across every discipline.

Since 1994, Keith Teboul has been pioneering construction and shaping from his home in Haiku, Maui, ground zero for global wave and wind innovation. The legendary shaper of Quatro and KT, translates Kai’s unfiltered feedback into ever-evolving custom boards, spanning everything from Jaws, Mavericks, and Nazare to Ho’okipa, Indo, and the North Shore. Now, that synergy is opening its doors.
